Everything you need to know about Kangaskhan in Pokmon Go.

Kangaskhan, the parent Pokémon, is one of the regional Pokémon in Pokémon Go, but for certain events in the game, such as the Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto, it will appear in raids around the world.

If you don’t live in the dedicated Kangaskhan region, then this is the perfect time to add this rare Pokémon to your collection, exploring your weaknesses in an attack.

Kangaskhan is a three-star raid Pokémon, so it’s a good idea to team up with other players to make sure you can defeat this Pokémon. Remember – you can use remote attack passes to fight Kangaskhan from your own home!

Along with Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Mewtwo, Kangaskan made an appearance during the Kanto Tour event in February 2021, and had to be captured to complete the corresponding Raid Collection Challenge.

How to catch Kangaskhan in Pokémon Go

Usually, Kangaskhan is a regional exclusive in Australasia, where it will spawn in the wild.

However, since its debut in 2016 it has appeared in several events for other players to have access in their own region.

One such opportunity is during the Tour Kanto event in February 2021, which mandates players to capture all 150 Pokémon in an eight-day period.

During this event, Kangaskhan – alongside other exclusive Farfetch’d from Kanto, Mr Mime and Tauros – appears in Raids on the day of the main event on Saturday, February 20.

At the time of writing, this is the only way to get Kangaskhan before the February 28, 2021 Raid Collection Challenge deadline – so be sure to prioritize capturing it the day before the opportunity disappears.
