Pokémon x Levi’s clothing collection now available

Pokémon is officially celebrating its 25th anniversary next week, but Nintendo is kicking off the festivities sooner with a variety of new products, events and more. The last collaboration was with the clothing brand Levi’s, so if you are thinking of adding new Pokémon equipment to your wardrobe, now is a great time to do so. THE Levi’s x Pokémon Collection launched online and in stores today, offering a variety of jeans, shirts, jackets and accessories featuring Pokémon Gen 1 and characters in their classic styles.

To be honest, I was super skeptical when I first saw the teaser images for this collection in January, but now that the full line of Pokémon outfits has been revealed, some of them are really cute. There is a lovely Jigglypuff hat (which I bought immediately), a white T-shirt with a very sleepy Pikachu dozing on the Levi’s logo, and even a Psyduck mini bag that has sold out online. The collection also pays homage to the original anime, including a T-shirt that shows Ash and Misty with their Poke Balls ready. You can even get Misty’s blouse and shorts and cosplay the iconic water trainer. Strangely, Brock doesn’t appear in the collection – did you forget that the original gang was a trio, Levi’s?

Of course, there are denim jackets and jeans available too, including two vintage-style trucker jackets with matching jeans. The first combination of jacket and jeans has a green forest pattern with several Pokémon Gen 1 prints, while the second pair is a little more discreet, with light denim with rays on the sleeves and a fierce-looking Pikachu on the thigh. Each jacket and pair of jeans are available for purchase separately. There are also several pairs of jeans that you can customize with a more subtle Pokémon pattern.

We highlight some products from the collection that caught our attention below, but you can check out the complete line of Pokémon jackets, sweatshirts, t-shirts and more at Levi’s. Note that for some items, you must select their size before the “add to cart” button appears.
