Pokémon will do a virtual show with Post Malone on February 27

Post Malone, best known for contributing “Girassol” to the Spider man: In the Spider Verse soundtrack, will help the Pokémon franchise celebrate its 25th anniversary. On February 27, the Pokémon Company will host a virtual concert spearheaded by the rapper as part of the one-year celebration of P25 Music, which will also feature Katy Perry.

You will be able to watch the entire event when it starts at 7 pm Eastern Time via YouTube, Twitch and also the official Pokémon website. And you will want to watch it until the end. That’s because the Pokémon Company says it will have more ads for P25 Music.

So far, the franchise’s 25th anniversary has probably not gone the way the Pokémon Company imagined. Earlier this week, his promotion with McDonalds, which saw the fast food chain pack an exclusive set of Pokémon cards with Happy Meals, was sabotaged by money changers. But with most of 2021 still ahead and Pokémon Snap on the horizon, there’s a good chance that the celebration will end better than it started.
