Pokémon Unite is a new MOBA that will soon enter beta testing on Android

POKÉMON UNIT ANNOUNCED FOR NINTENDO MOBILE AND SWITCH DEVICES

New multiplatform game is being developed in partnership with Tencent Games

Tokyo, JAPAN – June 24, 2020 – Today during a Pokémon Presents video presentation, Tsunekazu Ishihara, president and CEO of The Pokémon Company, revealed Pokémon UNITE, a new game for the Nintendo Switch ™ system and mobile devices. Pokémon UNITE is being developed in partnership with Tencent Games’ TiMi Studios.

Pokémon UNITE is the first strategic battle game for Pokémon teams. Players face off in five-on-five team battles. During these battles, players will cooperate with their teammates to capture wild Pokémon, level up and develop their own Pokémon. They will need to defeat their opponents’ Pokémon while trying to earn more points than the opposing team within the allotted time. Pokémon UNITE will be free to get started.
