Pokémon Presents Broadcast arriving tomorrow amid remake rumors

The Pokémon Company announced a video presentation of Pokémon Presents for Friday, February 26. The presentation will air at 7am Pacific / 10am East / 3pm UK (2am AEDT on February 27th) on the Pokémon channel on YouTube. The Japanese Pokémon’s Twitter account indicates that the show will be about 20 minutes long.

The news comes after consistent rumors about the announcement of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl remakes, including repeated leak Pokémon Center saying fans wouldn’t have to wait until February 27 for “the big news they’ve been waiting for”, accompanied by images of legendary Pokémon introduced in Diamond and Pearl.

February 27 marks the Pokémon series’ 25th anniversary, giving some credit to the idea of an ad – and one that looks back on the series seems somewhat appropriate. All rumors should be interpreted with caution, however.

It seems likely that we can also learn about Pokémon games that have not yet been released, such as New Pokémon Snap, Pokémon Sleep and the (somewhat controversial) Pokémon Unite.
