Pokémon Leaker makes a not-so-subtle taunt about the next game

Before Pokémon Day on February 27, an important Pokémon the leaker launched an important and not so subtle provocation on the next Pokémon game coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite. For months and months, rumors and leaks claimed that Pokémon fans will not have a new generation in 2021, but a remake from a previous generation, or more specifically, a generation 4 remake, or in other words, a remake of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. At the moment, none of these rumors and leaks have been validated or confirmed, but it seems that Nintendo and Game Freak are giving the pair of games the same treatment they did Ruby and Saphire several years ago with Omega Ruby and Omega Saphire.

Adding fuel to all these speculations and anticipations, the highlight Pokémon leaker, Pokémon Center, recently not only proved everything above, but also noted that news of the remakes will be shared before Pokémon Day on February 27.

While this may come as a surprise to some fans, it is actually not very surprising, since February 27 is a Saturday this year. And as you may know, announcements and disclosures are usually made during the week, not the weekend.

As always, take everything here with caution, as it varies from speculative to unofficial. At the time of publication, there was no word on Nintendo and Game Freak’s plans Pokémon this year, but that should change next week.
