Pokémon launches huge popularity survey before its 25th anniversary

Pokémon Day is coming, and fans have high hopes for the birthday. The franchise is turning 25 in 2021, so you can see why fans are waiting for a big party. It looks like some birthday events are taking place just before the big day itself, and one of those celebrations is courtesy of a popularity poll.

And yes, you can enter, no matter where you are. As long as you have access to Twitter and a search engine, don’t worry! You will be able to participate in Pokémon Fun!

It turns out that The Pokémon Company started a major online popularity search in Japan. The brand started a Twitter campaign that tracks a specific Japanese hashtag, and all fans need to do is use the word “に き め た” at the end of a specific message. You must take this word to the end of which Pokémon you wish to vote as your favorite, but you must do so using the Japanese name of the monster.

So, for example, you could vote for Pikachu using these rules. You need to search for the name of the monster in Japanese (ピ カ チ ュ ウ) and then tweet that word with a hashtag and the special Japanese word that we mentioned earlier: # ピ カ チ ュ ウ に き め た

You can do this with any Pokémon, as long as you follow the rules. You can send as many tweets as you want to send Pokémon agenda, and the company keeps a live record of the results. If you go to this site and scroll down, you’ll find an updated list of the top thirty monsters in the poll. At the time of publishing this article, Dedenne is in first place, but the mouse has some fierce opponents coming from behind. Cinccino is in second place with Snivy and Buzzwole in third and fourth place.
