Pokémon Journeys has continued Ash Ketchum and Goh’s world tour as they try to capture the strongest pocket monsters around the world and get fans excited about the new year, the anime’s latest season has released a new trailer to give you an idea of the adventures to come for well-known anime trainers. With Ash and Pikachu working to defeat their biggest challenge, Galar region champion Leon, it’s clear that these upcoming adventures will test the courage of all the characters involved in the long-running anime!

One of the most recent episodes shocked fans with the return of Mewtwo’s cloned Pokémon, pitting Ash and Goh against one of the most popular and powerful pocket monsters that have ever roamed Earth. While next year will see the continuation of the television series, it will also see the launch of Pokémon: secret of the jungle, the twenty-third feature film in the franchise that will feature the legendary creature known as Zarude, as well as introducing Ash to a unique “trainer” in the form of Coco, who is more like Tarzan than any other character we’ve seen in the series so far today!

The official Pokémon account on Twitter shared this trailer that shows some of the events of the upcoming episodes of Pokémon Journeys, showing the return of a Legendary Pokémon, along with some old favorites making their big returns to the series as well:

Pokémon Journeys arrived in North America thanks to Netflix’s streaming service, releasing episodes of Ash Ketchum’s latest adventures as he travels the world with his new friend Goh to celebrate his victory in the Pokémon Alola Region Tournament. With Ash and Goh capturing some of the strongest creatures they’ve encountered this past season, they’ve received some very serious threats, not just from the trainers in the Galar region, but a new enhanced version of Team Rocket that has some new technology insane to your disposition!
