Pokémon Go March Community Day will focus on Fletchling

In the next Pokémon Go Community Day will take place on March 6th and will feature the Pokémon Fletchling bird.

This is the first Community Day that we have received in a long time and that will add a new Shiny Pokémon to the game. While most players waited and hoped for the initial Unovan Pokémon to win its spotlight on Community Day, we are instead catching the bird from the Kalos region. Players can expect to find Shiny versions of Fletchling more often during the event.

Community Day will have the usual advantages: for the six-hour event, Incense will last for three hours, the XP earned by capturing Pokémon will be tripled and the presented Pokémon will learn a special movement when it evolves. In this case, Talonflame will learn to Incinerate. Incinerating is a great move for PvP, and since Fletchling is a relatively new addition to the game, Community Day will be a good opportunity to create candies to evolve it and complete your Pokédex.
