The Kanto Celebration Event will take place from February 21 to 27, 2021, as a subsequent celebration to the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto Event. During the event, trainers will be able to invade legendary Pokémon from the Kanto region and obtain Pokémon Gen 1 that knows attacks unique to previous Community Day events.
You will be able to collect different Pokémon from the Kanto region in wild encounters, Incense and Eggs. Note that the shiny shapes of all Pokémon Kanto will be available as soon as the Kanto Tour starts on the same day – February 21st.

Raids
The following Pokémon will appear in the raids:
- Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Magikarp and Dratini will appear in attacks by a star.
- Scyther, Pinsir, Machoke, Kadabra, Haunter, Graveler and Lapras will appear in three-star raids.
- Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Mewtwo will appear in five-star raids.
Exclusive movements
Get Pokémon that know attacks unique to previous Community Day events! If you evolve the following Pokémon during the event, your Evolution will experience an exclusive attack.
- Evolve Ivysaur (the evolved form of Bulbasaur) to obtain a Venusaur who knows Frenzy Plant.
- Evolve Charmeleon (the evolved form of Charmander) to obtain a Charizard that knows Blast Burn.
- Evolve Wartortle (the evolved form of Squirtle) to obtain a Blastoise that knows Hydro Cannon.
- Evolve Pichu to get a Pikachu that knows Surf.
- Evolve Eevee in any of your Evolutions to obtain an evolved form that knows the Last Resort.
- Evolve Dragonair (the evolved form of Dratini) to obtain a Dragonite who knows Draco Meteor.
