You will not find it in the jungle.
The 2021 Valentine’s Day event in Pokémon Go presents a great Collection Challenge for players to complete, which asks trainers to find 12 different Pokémon before the end of the event (check our guide for the full list).
One of the Pokémon featured in this Collection Challenge is Alomomola, a Water Pokémon of the fifth generation in the Pokémon universe.
Alomomola is one of the most difficult Pokémon to track for this collection, since it cannot be found in the wild.
So, how do you get it?
According to The Silph Road subreddit, Alomomola can be found in Tier-3 Raids and as a reward encounter for completing two different Field Research tasks:
- Win 2 Raids
- Catch 20 Luvdisc
If you decide to fight Alomomola in a Raid, remember that you may need another player to help you, depending on your level in the game and the strength of your Pokémon team.
Finally, even if you we are strong enough to defeat Alomomola alone, we still recommend inviting your in-game friends to Raid so that they have a chance to catch Alomomola for their own Collection Challenge.
Now that you know how to locate Alomomola for the Valentine’s Day Collection Challenge, check out our other guides that can help you find Espeon and Umbreon.
