Pokémon Go Fletchling Community Day Guide: start times and best movesets

Fletchling will be presented in Pokémon GoCommunity Day on March 6, from 11 am to 5 pm local time.

As usual on Community Days, the Pokémon featured will be appearing in large numbers, with a greater chance of finding it Shiny.

How do I find a Bright Fletchling?

Since Fletchling will be showing up everywhere, just tap on each Fletchling you see until you get a Shiny. You’ll find one sooner or later, as the Shiny rate on Community Days increases to about one in 24.

What special move does Talonflame learn?

When you evolve Fletchling in his final evolution, Talonflame, he will learn the fire-type movement, Incinterate. Remember that it needs to be developed on March 6th from 11am to 7pm local time to get this movie.

How do I make the most of Fletchling Community Day?

During the event period, any XP earned from capturing Pokémon will be tripled, so we recommend using Lucky Eggs when capturing Pokémon. This will give you even more XP, which will be useful to move up to level 40 and beyond.

Talonflame is an OK fire striker for gyms and raids, and is massively defeated by Pokémon like Reshiram and Chandelure. If you want to use it on raids, configure it with Fire Spin and Fire explosion (not the Community Day move.) It will be very good in the Ultra League for PvP, with Incinerate, Brave Bird, and Fire load.

If you’re deciding which Shiny Fletchling to evolve at the end of the day, try using one of the new search strings. Sort your ‘mons by’recent”Using the bottom right icon and type“4 *”In the search box at the top. This will let you know if you have any 100% IV Fletchling. Most people will not be so lucky, so you’ll want to type “3 *”In the search box, which will show any ‘recent monster that is 80% or more. Rate them to see which one is the best and then develop your new friend!
