Pokémon GO it may not necessarily be an ordinary mobile game, but there are still certain aspects of it that encourage users to exchange real-world money for in-game currency. There are also several elements of gacha style.

To make life a little easier for coaches, Niantic announced he started testing a new feature with a “limited number” of players – allowing them to see what Pokémon can hatch from the eggs in their inventory. In other words, you will now have at least some idea of what you can get from a particular egg.

“Trainers, we are excited to share that we are starting tests where a limited number of trainers will be able to see which Pokémon can hatch from Eggs in their inventory!”

The Niantic support account on Twitter explains how the trainers in this test are able to “hit an egg” and shows a list of possible pocket monsters that can hatch from it, along with their level of rarity. Unfortunately, it will not be shown if the Pokémon will be Shiny.

Here’s a glimpse, courtesy of our friends at Eurogamer. As noted by the same website, “no odds” are listed and “there is no suggestion as to how much rarer one level is than another”, so it’s up to the game community to solve the rest.

This update follows a request from the game’s player base last August – asking Niantic to disclose the odds of the game’s loot box, stating how it had been a problem for years.
