Point Fortin’s manager Evril “Tony” Jeffrey was shot several times in what the police believe was a home invasion on Friday night.

He was pronounced dead at the San Fernando General Hospital.

Investigators should review footage from closed circuit cameras in the area.

Point Fortin residents expressed shock and sadness at Jeffrey’s death.

“My deepest condolences to the family. Point Fortin really suffered a great loss. He was a family man and a community builder,” said one person.

Another person said, “We don’t know why this genuine, hard-working and loving person was called from the works for reward. But what we do know is that God is in control.”
