Players have discovered a new hidden and powerful arc in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. All you have to do is find a specific pile of stones and hit it a few times and reload your save. However, this is not the intended way to obtain the weapon.
Players found that a small, normal pile of rocks in the northern area of the main Valhalla safe map a strange and powerful secret. If you hit these stones … nothing happens. Unlike stacks of similar stones in the game, this stack does not break. However, if you hit this pile of stones a few times, save your game, and reload, well, nothing happens. But repeat this a few times, for most players, it takes about three reloads and eventually you will unlock the Arc de Norden.
JorRaptor made a great video showing the method of rock, how players discovered it and how powerful the bow is. (Spoilers: it’s very deadly.)
This hunter bow is an Isu weapon. The Isu were an ancient civilization of superpowered beings who enslaved humans and … look, you probably don’t care and I don’t have time to fully explain it. They were powerful and are no longer around, but their relics and weapons still exist, like this bow. This is the short version.
I tried this method and was lucky. Oin my very first reloading worked. Although I deleted the save. Because, although this method works reliably, it doesn’t look like Ubisoft would have Iplayers tried to unlock this special weapon. It looks like a failure.

This was confirmed earlier today by Darby McDevitt, the narrative director at Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. McDevitt explained on Twitter, in response to a tweet from JorRaptor, that this method was a “smart brute force hack” that can be useful for speedrunners.
However, he clarified that there is a real way in the game to unlock this bow, but he did not say how. However, when someone pointed out that a player must have already solved the secret, McDevitt vaguely replied “Someone almost did.”
