Pink and her daughter Willow star in the sepia tone video of their new duet Cover Me In Sunshine

Pink and her daughter Willow Sage Hart followed the release of their new duet Cover Me In Sunshine on Friday with a sweet video of the two playing outdoors.

The 41-year-old singer went to Instagram on Friday morning to announce the launch of a pastoral-themed music video.

‘Willow and I had a lot of fun shooting this … The Cover Me In Sunshine video is here!’ it gushed in its caption.

Amid the guitar’s opening notes, the singer (real name: Alecia Beth Moore) and Willow can be seen walking along a road towards the horizon, looking like Charlie Chaplin and Paulette Godard at the end of Modern Times.

Adding to the film feel of the old days was the use of a relatively square aspect ratio, along with an amber filter and fake film grain.

The two were surrounded by a vine, which was probably Pink’s own vineyard north of Santa Barbara, in southern California.

While Pink sings, ‘I’ve been dreaming of friendly faces’, Willow, nine, takes eggs from the hen house and holds one of the swollen birds.

‘Imagine people laughing’, the singer continues with a beautiful footage of her and Willow embracing in close-up with the sun creating a lens flare.

The mother and daughter duo then danced on a dock, which had an abandoned bathtub where Pink sat.

The pop superstar was dressed in a black dress covered with white floral patterns that matched the clip’s natural theme, while Willow was dressed more casually in overalls and a white floral print T-shirt.

Both women had their hair cut short, with Pink swaying her standard blonde fairy cut swept to the side, while her daughter had short brown braids.

Pink initially carried the duet alone, but then she and Willow joined in the chorus in the middle of the song.

Her daughter showed her own vocal skills while finishing the song on a sweet note.

On Friday, RCA Records released the musical version of the three-time Grammy-winning duet.

At the time, the Get The Party Started singer shared a video explaining why she and her mini-me daughter recorded the track at their $ 12 million four-bedroom Santa Ynez home.

The former student of Lady Marmalade has announced that the official music video for Cover Me In Sunshine will debut on Friday morning at 7am PST.

Pink originally sparked the song on Monday, after joining ByteDance’s popular video sharing social network service, TikTok.

The chorus says: ‘Cover me in the sun / Cover me in the sun / Tell me the world is spinning / From the beginning and everything will be fine / Just cover me in the sun.’

Two Wolves owner and little Willow previously sang The Christmas Song during The Disney Holiday Singalong, which aired on November 30 on ABC.

But the mother and daughter duo first collaborated on the songs A Million Dreams and A Million Dreams (Reprise) by The Greatest Showman: Reimagined soundtrack in 2018.

Pennsylvania-born Pink is also the mother of a four-year-old son, Jameson Moon – who ‘will be in a metal band’ – from his 15-year marriage to retired motocross racer Carey Hart.
