Piers Morgan appeared in Tucker Carlson Today Monday for her first interview since she became involved in a scandal following Meghan Markle’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which the Duchess of Sussex alleged racism in the royal family and revealed past suicidal thoughts, among other statements.
Morgan was incredulous after the interview and relentlessly attacked Markle, who filed a complaint with British regulators and reached out to the head of the ITV, the network for which Morgan was working at the time. But it wasn’t just Markle who had problems with what Morgan was saying about her. British regulators have received so many complaints about Morgan that he has received the most complaints in the history of television in the United Kingdom. Morgan colleagues at Good morning Great Britain also questioned his attacks on Markle. While a colleague confronted him about it on the air, Morgan got up and left the set furious. He later lost his job on the program.
“I don’t believe in Meghan Markle. Now, what I didn’t know, and what was a fascinating thing to discover after I left, was that Meghan Markle, between Monday and Tuesday, made a personal complaint to the head of ITV, “said Morgan, adding later:” So, I was under attack from Miss. This is the kind of defense – the kind of thing that we would hear liberals attack Donald Trump for, for reinventing facts, for creating his own truth,” said Morgan. “But when Meghan Markle does that, the same liberals who attacked Donald Trump applaud her, saying, “This is the truth of it and it must be believed. And if you don’t believe it, you’re a racist.” Well, I’m sorry, I’m not a racist. I just don’t believe it. in it. ”
