Piers Morgan promises to reveal his ‘truth’ about Meghan Markle in the special 1-hour explosive TV

Piers Morgan promised to reveal what he calls ‘MY truth’ in an hour-long TV special after his explosive debate over Meghan Markle and subsequent departure from Good Morning Britain.

The 56-year-old TV presenter left the ITV program and left the set in March after clashing with meteorologist Alex Beresford over the validity of Meghan’s shocking accusations against the royal family during his interview with Oprah Winfrey.

And now, Piers is preparing to set the record on Fox Nation’s Tucker Carlson Today program on Monday.

The journalist will unpack the events that led to his dramatic departure in his first revealing interview.

Confirming the news on his Twitter account on Saturday, Piers wrote: ‘It’s time for America to hear MY truth ….’

In another update shared on Friday night, Piers sneered at Meghan, 39, when he referred to the moment when Oprah, 67, asked if she was ‘quiet or silenced?’ to which Prince Harry’s wife, 36, accused the royal establishment of ‘silencing her’.

Casting doubts on the authenticity of his accusations once again, Piers used Oprah’s question to dismiss his departure from the GMB.

He joked: ‘UPDATE: On Monday, I will give my first interview since I left Good Morning Britain for @TuckerCarlson on his new @foxnation program, with highlights that night on his @FoxNews program.

‘Was I silent or was I silenced? (crying and laughing emoji). ‘

Tucker, 51, also confirmed the news to social media by sharing an exclusive clip from the interview and said: ‘So Piers Morgan was banned from television for asking a simple question, how do the most privileged people in our society get away from it? pose as the most oppressed?

– For asking to be crushed, they took their job. On Monday, we’ll speak to Piers Morgan for his first comprehensive camera interview since he was canceled. ‘

Last month, Morgan announced that he had left the GMB after co-star Beresford contested his comments about Meghan and his interview with Oprah.

The GMB presenter left the daytime series after he insisted that he ‘did not believe a word’ from Meghan’s account of suffering suicidal thoughts and experiencing racism at the hands of the royal family.

Piers then left the set after a heated debate with Alex, in which the climate host accused Piers of ‘destroying’ Meghan unjustly, and labeled him ‘diabolical’.

When Piers left the screen, Alex continued, “I’m sorry, but Piers just talks too much and we have to sit and listen.”

Piers, who refused to apologize, later announced his resignation and tweeted his thanks to the GMB team, praising them for their ‘hard work and dedication’ that led them to defeat their main TV rival for breakfast.

And the presenter shared his own thoughts on the events of that fateful week in an article for Mail On Sunday last week.

Piers called Alex ‘the occasional substitute meteorologist for the GMB’ and ‘tense’ in the report, adding that the presenter has not sent him messages since his departure, unlike others on the program.

Reflecting on his now infamous meeting at the GMB, which ended with Piers leaving the studio, Piers said he would not sit there and be ‘beaten’ by someone on his own team.

He wrote: ‘I don’t mind that external guests try to make a name for themselves by hitting me like that, but I wouldn’t sit there and take it from someone on my own team, especially someone I went out of my way to help whenever he asks me for advice on his career.

‘Realizing that I could say something I would regret, I decided to leave the studio to cool down.

‘When I pulled away, Alex doubled down: “This is pathetic. Absolutely diabolical behavior. I’m sorry, but Piers speaks often and we all have to sit here and listen. From 6:30 am to 7 am yesterday, it was incredibly difficult to watch.

“He has the ability to come in here and speak from a position that he doesn’t fully understand …” ‘

Piers continued: ‘I have heard no more of your diatribe, as I was outside the door towards my dressing room.

‘I knew I wasn’t looking good, the great snowflake destroyer running away from the confrontation. And on second thought, I shouldn’t have done that. But in the heat of the moment, in my somewhat tense state of mind, this seemed the least worst option.

Since Piers left the show, he has received messages from several stars, naming Jeremy Clarkson and Bear Grylls, who said they had the ‘right’ to say what they think.

Sharon Osbourne also expressed support for Piers during an appearance on The Talk, although she has split from the CBS program.
