Piers Morgan hits Meghan and Harry’s ‘terrible’ interview on DailyMailTV

Below is Piers Morgan’s full column on Harry and Meghan’s interview.

Nauseating.

Shameful.

Self-pity.

Lustful.

Scandalous.

Sanctimonious.

Spectacularly selfish.

Those were just my initial thoughts after ten minutes of Oprah whine-athon with Meghan and Harry, and while I restricted myself to using only words that started with the letter ‘s’.

When I was done with the whole two-hour orgy of pious, self-indulgent, accountable chatter, the steam was coming out of my ears like an exploding geyser, and my lexicon of angry epithets spread across the entire range of the alphabet.

I have never seen an interview so disgustingly insincere.

Not one more terribly hypocritical or contradictory.

They groaned about the terrible pain of their royal titles, but were also outraged that their son Archie was not allowed to be a prince.

They talked about their constant trauma with the unpleasant stories in the newspapers, but repeatedly insisted that they had never read any of them.

They claimed they were forced to sign zillion-dollar deals with Netflix and Spotify because Prince Charles cut his allowance, despite Harry inheriting millions from his late mother, Princess Diana, and having his entire life funded by the royal family.

And so it went on nauseatingly.

In the midst of a pandemic that has claimed 2.5 million lives, an incredibly wealthy, titled couple living in a sunny $ 14 million mansion in California wanted us all to know that THEY are the real victims here.

Meghan even compared her previous life living in a palace to the disabling existence of coronavirus blocking freedom theft, which must have sounded so empathetic to large families living on top of tower blocks with three children who are trying to study at home and not work to pay for food.

‘I couldn’t even find my friends for lunch!’ lamented the Duchess of Delirium, who flew to New York for a $ 500,000 baby shower with all of her newfound famous friends, then flew back to London like any good ecological warrior on George Clooney’s private jet, who drank footprints of carbon.

But in the midst of all the relatively trivial gossip, some incredibly damaging bombs emerged, deliberately detonated to do the most damage to the British Royal Family and the Monarchy.

First, Meghan claimed to have become suicidal under the pressure of being a princess and had her requests for help rejected by the cold, heartless palace.

We were not told who rejected it, or why she could not seek her own therapy or treatment, if that was what she felt she needed. After all, her husband has spent years talking about mental health and has close links with all the major mental health charities.

Instead, we believe that the palace rejected a pregnant suicidal woman in her hour of desperate need.

But that was not even the most explosive revelation.

No, that happened when Meghan told Oprah that a member of the Royal Family had asked her baby’s color during a conversation with Harry.

In fact, she said there were several conversations, while he said there was only one.

But none of them wanted to name the offender Royal.

Harry said he would never reveal the name.

So, now we have to see all Royals as racists.

Nor were we given any details about what exactly was said, or in what context it was said.

Could an older elder of royalty innocently asking Harry what skin color his baby might be, given that Meghan’s mother is black and her father white, constitutes racism?

It would be, if there was any derogatory tone in the question, or any suggestion that it would be a problem how dark the child’s skin was. But we don’t know the answers to these vital questions, because, having dropped the bomb of racism, the Sussex are not going to say anything else.

I find that cowardly.

And the charge of racism has gotten worse.

Meghan went on to state, without providing any evidence, that the Royal Family decided to change the rules specifically to prevent their son Archie from being a Prince, because of the color of his skin.

Once again, no name was given to the terrible racist at the Palace responsible for such a disgusting discriminatory decision.

But, as Meghan and Harry know, the only person who has the final say on the titles is the Queen.

Therefore, in making this surprising, unproven statement, they are effectively classifying His Majesty, Harry’s grandmother, as racist.

It is difficult to think of a more shameful slander against a woman who has devoted her entire life to the service of her country and the Community.

The Queen is not a racist and has never been a racist.

Even suggesting that it could be is disgusting.

But doing so at a time when her 99-year-old husband, Prince Philip, has spent the last few weeks seriously ill in the hospital is worse than that, it is despicable.

Nothing that Meghan Markle said in this interview surprised me.

From the moment Oprah announced his scoop, I predicted for anyone who asked me that Meghan would aggressively play the mental health and race cards to deflect any criticism of herself and her own behavior or responsibility.

I also suspect, cynically, that this is why she chose to give such a sensational interview when she is five months pregnant. Why would any woman do this after having a miscarriage last year, knowing the obvious controversy, media attention and stress it would cause? The answer, I fear, is that she thought that pregnancy would provide her with another layer of protection against the furor and the inevitable criticisms that would result from her destruction of the Royal Family.

Having had a personal experience, on a very small scale, of Meghan Markle’s cruelty in dismissing anyone in her life who has ceased to be useful to her, it was not a big shock to see her light a huge fire that will surely cause irreparable damage Her husband’s family.

After all, she set her entire family on fire, along with her ex-husband and most of her old friends.

This was the performance of his life, with every word, every facial expression carefully planned and choreographed.

In fact, it is not too late, someone should nominate him for the Oscar.

I mean, this is a woman who was photographed on the bars of Buckingham Palace as a bright-eyed teenager, but now she wants us to believe that she knew nothing about royalty and never searched Google for her handsome prince when they met.

Since both are obvious lies, why should we believe anything that comes out of your mouth?

“No one told me how to bow or sing the British national anthem,” lamented a 39-year-old woman, married to someone who can probably help with both.

But make no mistake, this interview will be a triumph for Meghan in America. Her narrative of a poor, vulnerable and unsuspecting biracial woman thrown to the wolves by a racist royal family and the racist British press is already being proclaimed as ‘brave’, ‘angry’ and ‘iconic’ in the United States.

She has exactly what she wants: her homeland pitying her.

And woe to anyone who criticizes Meghan, as you will be instantly criticized as a ‘racist bully’ for a woman who is accused of subjecting her own young Palace employee to horrendous bullying.

But what about Prince Harry and his own homeland, Britain?

How could he allow his wife to topple his family like that on TV, and attack and belittle the very institution so dear to his grandmother?

He even let her throw his brother William’s wife Kate – a woman who never said a bad word about Meghan in public – under the bus, saying she made her cry in a row over the children’s wedding dresses.

This ‘space’, which is how Harry structured his current fractured relationship with William, will now be the size of 1000 Grand Canyons.

And then Harry happily joined the Sopranos-style coup too, revealing incredibly intimate secrets about his father, Prince Charles, the kind that he would scream in fury if they were revealed by the tabloid press.

He claimed that Charles stopped taking his calls last January, after he and Meghan left their country and the royal family and cut their huge financial subsidy as well. And Harry is still furious with his father, apparently, for disappointing him.

However, what exactly did Charles do wrong, except to try to deal with his obstinate young son’s constant hunger for drama?

He played Harry and Meghan for years, and even came in to take her to the altar when her father gave up after suffering a heart attack and was rejected by his daughter (where Oprah’s questions were ‘nothing is off limits’ Winfrey about that?) – however, they now pay you back with this open and stabbing betrayal.

Harry disloyally says that Charles and William are ‘imprisoned’ in the institution of the Monarchy because they are the heirs of the throne.

“They cannot leave and I have great compassion for that,” he said.

Oh, please.

He and Meghan talk ceaselessly about their compassion, but show the complete opposite of their own families.

If Charles or William wanted to leave, they could do exactly what Harry did, and what Edward VIII did when he abdicated the throne.

Any member of royalty can ‘leave’.

But only Edward and Harry actually did it, both coincidentally after falling in love with American women.

The only difference is that Edward and Wallis Simpson never spoke ill in public about the Royal Family or destroyed the Monarchy.

A few hours after the broadcast of Oprah’s interview, the hashtag #AbolishTheMonarchy was on the rise on Twitter.

This is the effect that Meghan and Harry’s accusations have had with their incredibly poisonous accusations.

Mrs. Markle will not care about the damage she has done to an institution that she clearly despises.

But Harry should.

The fact that he willingly participated in such a despicable public attack on the Royal Family – his family – and on the Monarchy is utterly shameful.

And having caused so much extra pain for her 94-year-old grandmother, the Queen, at a time when her husband is seriously ill in the hospital, is just scary.

When it comes to mental health and having a heart, it seems that Meghan and Harry only care about themselves.
