Piers Morgan demands Meghan Markle’s names from interview

Piers Morgan refused to back down on Monday because of his accusations against Meghan Markle – continuing to insist during an explosive TV interview that “the delusional duchess” lied during her famous Oprah Winfrey.

The staunch British TV personality demanded that Markle start naming names when it came to her claim that she sought out a senior royal to say she was suicidal because of life in the palace – only to be rejected because she was told that “it would not be good for the institution. ”

“You are accusing … the people in the palace of being indescribably cruel simply to protect the brand of the royal family. If this is true, we will take the names of these people, and we will go to them and ask if this is true, ”Morgan told interviewer Tucker Carlson on “Fox Nation,” referring to Markle.

“Did you tell a suicidal woman who told you that she was suicidal that she was not allowed to seek help? Because I find it impossible to believe, ”said Morgan.

“Here we are a month later and, frankly – I had a lot of time to think about it – I still don’t believe anything they were saying,” he added about Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, who also spoke with Winfrey.

“Seventeen different statements made by the two have now been proven to be completely false or extremely exaggerated or improbable. I don’t understand why I should believe people who don’t tell the truth.

“There are so many ridiculous lies in this interview that, frankly, in the end, saying that I would believe her would be the same as saying that I believe in Pinocchio. Why should I?”

The former talk show host complained that he was destroyed by the “awakened brigade” and “liberal bullies” – all for just saying what he thinks.

“It’s not really about Meghan Markle – she’s a delusional duchess who wants to make millions with royalty while destroying the family,” said Morgan. “It’s really about freedom of expression.”

But in continuing to face Markle, Morgan also rejected Winfrey’s suggestion that her son, Archie, was not given security or a royal title because he is of mixed race.

“It is not just a feeling that your life experience is not true, it is factually incorrect,” Morgan said of the statement. “That boy would never be a prince until Prince Charles, Harry’s father, became king with the queen’s death.

“So for Meghan Markle to try to create a story that says that the decision not to make Archie the prince was based on the color of his skin is a lie.”

Morgan dropped the popular British talk show “Good Morning Britain” after the interview last month, after clashing with a co-star over allegations made by Markle and Harry.

Morgan admitted to Carlson that he shouldn’t have left the show on air, but added, “I was angry because I could feel that there was a growing feeling that if you didn’t believe everything Meghan said, then you were the problem, you was the racist, it couldn’t be that she was lying, ”reported Sun.

He said he was later informed by the show’s executives that he had to apologize – or else.

Morgan said he took a walk around West London before deciding it would not be “Intimidated by the agreed brigade” and said to his superiors: “In a fundamental point of principle, I will not apologize for not believing in Meghan Markle”.

He said he was “disgusted” with former “friend” and CNN host Don Lemon later accused him to commit an “act of racism” for doubting Markle.

Morgan added that he still feels bad for British friend Sharon Osbourne, who ended up leaving “The Talk” on CBS TV amid accusations of racist behavior and after defending him on Twitter.

“It is disconcerting to see a great friend of mine get knocked down,” Morgan told Carlson. “Sharon was deliberately taken off the air … all because she dared to tweet that I was entitled to my own opinion.”
