Osbourne was among those who publicly defended Morgan after his comments on Meghan Markle and the subsequent departure from ITV’s “Good Morning Britain”.

Osbourne said later during Wednesday’s episode of “The Talk” that she feels “like I’m about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend that many people think is racist and that makes me a racist”. This, along with several other heated comments that Osbourne made to his co-host, Sheryl Underwood, has caused considerable online conversation since then, leading to Osbourne’s clarification on Friday.

Morgan and Osbourne acted together as judges on “America’s Got Talent”.
