CASPER, Wyo – Natrona County fire crews are responding to a forest fire on Sunday at the Elkhorn Creek drainage at the base of Casper Mountain, according to Casper Fire-EMS.
“The fire is generally moving to the northeast using moderate to heavy fuels,” the agency said on social media.
The agencies are asking the public to avoid the area while the teams work.
