EPCOT guests wishing to stroll around Crescent Lake tonight for New Year’s Eve should be informed that cast members are looking for reservations at the MagicBands on the International Gateway bridge.
To access Disney’s BoardWalk and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts, guests must have a valid resort or dinner reservation to enter.
With the theme parks closing before midnight tonight, it seems that this new precaution is being taken to avoid an influx of guests at each resort. Most resort lounges are open after midnight, and with some closing until 1 am, they can be popular with revelers looking to celebrate New Year’s Eve.
