Phoebe Bridgers calls David Crosby ‘b ****’ after the rocker said her guitar crush antics on SNL were ‘pathetic’

Phoebe Bridgers and David Crosby are having different opinions.

The 26-year-old Kyoto singer caused a stir when she finished her SNL performance by screaming and breaking her guitar on one of the stage monitors, like rock stars like Jimi Hendrix and The Clash.

But old-school musician Crosby, 79, was not impressed by his antics, calling the feat “pathetic” when asked about it on Twitter on Monday.

Bridgers countered with an insult, calling Crosby’s co-founder, Stills, Nash & Young ‘b ****’ in response to the tweet.

“I really DO NOT give a damn if others have done this before,” he told people who pointed out that many of his contemporaries in the 60s and 70s were eager to destroy their instruments to show off.

“It’s still … STUPID,” he continued.

But Phoebe was not apologizing for the feat.

On Monday, she shared an image of the moment of impact on her Instagram and wrote: ‘I received very good feedback from my performance! next time, i will burn it and it will be more expensive. ‘

After her fellow musician Kathleen Edwards tweeted how upset she was with the monitor breaking, Bridgers revealed: ‘They made me a fake to break lol.’

And the guitar was not priceless antiquity, as musician Jason Isbell pointed out in his own tweet.

‘That was like an $ 85 guitar that she broke down on the guys,’ he replied, to which Phoebe added: ‘I said [guitarmaker] Danelectro I was going to do this and they wished me luck and told me that they are difficult to break. ‘
