Philly residents in 22 zip codes can apply for the COVID-19 vaccine – NBC10 Philadelphia

Philadelphia residents living in 22 postal codes identified as needy in the city’s vaccination process will be able to simply walk to the Pennsylvania Convention Center and receive their COVID-19 vaccine, the city announced on Tuesday.

The walking procedure for those Philadelphia will last until Monday, March 22.

Here are the zip codes where you must live in order to receive a dose at the convention center in the city center:

West and southwest of Philadelphia

Residents will be required to show identification and proof of residence to obtain the footage, city officials said. For more information, CLICK HERE to visit the city’s website detailing the “open access” plan.

The day after Pennsylvania announced plans to reverse coronavirus restrictions on April 4, Philadelphia’s top health official said he was not yet ready to commit to the same concessions as the state.

The city will again accept requests for authorization for major outdoor events, but the city’s health commissioner, Dr. Thomas Farley, said he was not yet ready to commit to the same loosening of the COVID-19 restrictions that the state has.

Pennsylvania said it will expand indoor restaurants to 75% next month and allow bar service inside pubs and restaurants without requiring food to be purchased. The 11 pm curfew will also be canceled.
