Slatoff mentioned that the PGA Tour 2K21 sold about 2 million units, and that is considered a fantastic and surprising result.

He also mentioned that Take-Two believes that there is a future for the franchise within its line and that it deserves investment, with the prospect of turning it into a profitable and exciting franchise many years from now.

“We are extremely excited about the performance of that title and I would like to say that we are not surprised, but personally I am surprised.

It worked incredibly well. We sold about 2 million units, which is a fantastic result and we are just getting started.

We really think there is a future in this franchise for us. In fact, we haven’t announced much of what this specifically means, but it is undoubtedly something that we think deserves an investment on our part and that we can really transform into a profitable and exciting franchise for us many years from now. “
