Peter Laviolette doubles up in the making of stupid Tom Wilson-Brandon Carlo

“I think we’re still hopeful (he’s going to play on Sunday),” he said, via The Washington Post’s Samantha Pell. “I mean, for me, it was a hockey success. If this is a suspended play, then all of the hitting will probably have to be removed because he didn’t take any steps, he didn’t aim for the head, a player was against the boards, he was standing and Tom hit him Hard. I hope the player is doing well, but for me, I think the decision was correct on the ice last night. This hit happens so many times in the course of the game, when someone hits someone against the boards, so I think we still hope that Tom will be available to us.

Nice of Laviolette not even to have the decency to refer to Carlo by name.

The Caps coach made it clear where he is in Wilson’s reckless game, and he is an accomplice in anything the Washington idiot decides to do from now on.

As for Carlo, he was discharged from the hospital on Saturday morning.
