Pete Carroll provides updates on Seahawks injuries ahead of Rams contest

Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll provided a series of updates on player injuries on Saturday morning, the day before his team faced the Los Angeles Rams for the NFC West title.

Only one player was dropped before the match, the running back DeeJay Dallas, who has a sprained ankle. Three other players listed with injury designation.

Guard Mike Iupati is considered doubtful with a stinger. Carroll said Jordan Simmons is likely to receive approval on Sunday instead.

“Jordan did a very good job,” said Carroll. “He’s a big, physical boy, very comfortable playing now, he played a lot of football for us, so it’s not like we have a guy who has no experience. Jordan can play, he has played against these guys in the past, so we are looking forward to him playing well, if that is the case ”.

As for another member of the offensive line, facing Brandon Shell, he remains questionable with an ankle injury. He may see some limited time in the contest, however.

“He has a chance to help us, so we look forward to seeing him get dressed and be with us,” said Carroll.

Safety Damarious Randall was the last Seattle player to report an injury report on Friday, listed as questionable due to a foot injury.
