Pepsi Mango will become the company’s newest permanent flavor in 5 years

SALT LAKE CITY – Pepsi is becoming fruity and should present its newest permanent flavor to the carbonated drink: Pepsi Mango.

The new tropical flavor is due to hit stores on Monday and will be the first flavor of the brand to remain in five years.

Pepsi said the drink will have “bright citrus notes and rich caramel notes from a frozen Pepsi creating the perfect cola base for the ripe and juicy flavors that make the mango so irresistible”.

The new flavor will also be the first time that Pepsi has launched a regular version and a sugar-free version at the same time. Something they say is driven by a growing preference for sugar-free offers.

“Our consumers are always looking for new and exciting flavors, so we couldn’t be more excited to introduce them to Pepsi Mango,” said Pepsi’s vice president of marketing, Todd Kaplan.

“Mango is one of the most popular fruits in the world and serves as a perfect complement to Pepsi, creating an irresistible combination that our fans can enjoy anywhere throughout the year.”
