People are mesmerized, the potatoes are back

The potatoes are coming back to Taco Bell. Earlier this week, the fast-food establishment announced that it was changing course to bring the option back, after cutting out a substantial part of its menu last fall. Suffice it to say that fans are ecstatic about the change – so much so that the addition has become the subject of social media.

“The return of our beloved potatoes is just the first step in showing our fans the strong ongoing commitment to vegetarians that we are taking on this year,” said Liz Matthews, Global Director of Food Innovation at Taco Bell. “We have long been leaders in the vegetarian space, but this year, we have more meatless options than vegetarians, curious about vegetables and even meat eaters will love it.”
