Pedro Pascal celebrated his sister Lux after she turned out to be transgender in the latest issue of Ya magazine.
The 45-year-old “The Mandalorian” actor posted a sweet message on her Instagram next to the cover of the magazine.
“Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux”, he wrote, which translates to “my sister, my heart, our Lux”.
Lux, 28, revealed that he started receiving hormone treatment in July and is now studying acting at Juilliard in New York.
“My transition was very natural for everyone in my family,” said Lux in the article, translated from Spanish. “It is almost something they expected to happen.”
She also talked about her relationship with her brother and said that he has supported his transition, which she revealed to him through FaceTime, from the beginning.
“[He] has been an important part of that, ”she shared. “He is also an artist and has been a guide for me. He was one of the first people to give me the tools that started to shape my identity. “
Lux also highlighted the importance of activism within the community, saying: “We need trans activists who are good, smart, informed and who can be strong voices against transphobia, homophobia and racism”.
