PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A pedestrian was run over and killed by a trailer along Interstate 70 on Monday morning.
The accident happened just before 7:30 am along the tracks to the east of I-70, near exit 38 (Mon-Fayette Expressway) in Fallowfield Township.

According to the Washington County Coroner’s Office, John Marvin Isenberg III, 33, from Ohio, was working on a damaged vehicle on the right side of the highway when the tractor trailer hit him.

Interstate 70 was closed for about three hours, but reopened to traffic around 10:30 am

The Pennsylvania State Police is investigating the accident.
