“Look, it’s a bizarre experience,” he admitted. “It is so difficult to describe because these situations are typically, depending on what you like, very private encounters.”

To make matters worse for Mescal: his concern that his “aunt on the west coast of Ireland” would eventually get a glimpse of the spicy scenes.

“We were talking about what the show would be like and we warned her that if she ever wanted to enter that territory, maybe she would make a cup of tea, maybe leave the room.”

“I think she underestimated the fact that these scenes are quite long, so there were a few cups of tea made.”

Hopefully, she won’t have to make as many cups of tea when she watches what he does next.
