Paul Bettany admits that WandaVision’s Final Cameo is [Spoiler]

Warning: there are spoilers ahead for the final episode of WandaVision!

A few weeks ago, Paul Bettany defined the WandaVision the rumors exploded when he told Barstool Sports that there was an unannounced cameo coming. “I work with this actor that I always wanted to work with and we make fireworks together,” said Bettany. “The scenes are great and I think people are going to be very excited. I always wanted to work with this guy … and the scenes are very intense. “

This may have driven fans’ expectations to be too high for the finale, with rumors suggesting members of the X-Men, Nightmare, Dr. Strange and more. Yet. Bettany’s recent appearance in Good Morning America set the correct record. Via CBR, Bettany admitted that the special villain is himself.

“You know when you think something is going to be funny, and you say, and you really panic about it, which is what I did because fans started to guess who it might be,” reported Bettany. “They were guessing people like Benedict Cumberbatch or Patrick Stewart and I thought, ‘My God, this is a good idea.’ They will be very disappointed when they find out it’s me. “

The intermediate credits scene in episode 8 revealed that the original vision was revived. However, this new White Vision is not the one that has been in WandaVision all this time. One of the biggest surprises in episode 8 was that Wanda never stole Vision’s body. Instead, his own powers created a new version of his deceased lover.

Of course, this also means that White Vision and Wanda’s Vision will face off, as expected. Bettany promised “fireworks”. It remains to be seen whether this will satisfy fans.

The ninth and final episode of WandaVision will arrive at Disney + on Friday, March 5.
