Patriots train South Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn

As the New England Patriots continue their pre-draft exploration, they continue to meet potential customers. On Wednesday, they had position coaches present to train South Carolina defender Jaycee Horn on his professional day.

Horn was designed for the Patriots in several simulated drafts. As a junior last year, he recorded 16 tackles and two interceptions for South Carolina. His best season statistically came as a freshman in 2018. He recorded 45 tackles and two sacks in the year.

It would help to bring additional depth to a New England secondary that already has a lot of key parts.

With New England having plenty of choice with the 15º general selection, Horn being an option. It would certainly fit perfectly with organizational change on the defensive side of football.
