Patriots putting ‘great pressure’ on Matthew Judon

The window for teams to negotiate with free agents opens Monday at noon ET.

Teams cannot officially announce deals (unless they hire a player who has been discharged) until the start of the new year of the league, which starts on Wednesday at 4 pm ET.

These deals have not been confirmed by the Ravens, nor do they reflect any inside information from anyone in the Baltimore office.

Patriots putting ‘great pressure’ on Matthew Judon

The New England Patriots have already reached valuable deals with tight end Jonnu Smith and defensive player Davon Godchaux, and now they are making a “big effort” to hire Ravens external linebacker Matthew Judon, reports Ian Rapoport and NFL Mike Garafolo Network. The Patriots entered the free agency with the league’s second-highest salary cap space, according to overthecap.com. Judon has led the Ravens in sacks and quarterback pressures since 2017.
