Patrick Queen, James Proche II nominated for the PFWA All-Rookie team

Two players who were part of the Ravens’ excellent rookie class were honored.

Internal linebacker Patrick Queen was named to the Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie team, while wide receiver James Proche II made the team as a punt hitter.

Justin Tucker, the most accurate placekicker in NFL history, was part of the PFWA All-NFL team for the third year in a row and for the fifth time in his career.

As the choice of Ravens in the first round (28th overall) after helping LSU to win a national championship, Queen entered the league with great expectations and met them. He led the Ravens in 106 tackles, and also added three sacks, an interception and two fumble recoveries. In week 5 against Cincinnati Bengals, Queen scored her first NFL touchdown when she hit a forced fumble from Marlon Humphrey and returned 53 yards to the scoreboard.
