Patrick Mahomes is a proud father.
On Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback posted a new photo of daughter Sterling Skye on Instagram, a month after his fiancee, Brittany Matthews, gave birth to the couple’s first child.
“1 month”, Mahomes, 25, subtitles the father and daughter post.
In the photo, Mahomes is seen smiling at his little girl, who wears a peach bow in the photo.
Matthews, 25, also shared the same image on his Instagram page, writing: “Ster is 1 Month.”
Last month, Mahomes and Matthews announced the arrival of their daughter Sterling, who was born on February 20.
Sterling recently made his social media debut by appearing in a video posted on Matthews’ Instagram page. In the clip, Matthews documented the stages of her pregnancy journey while she worked at home. In the final moments of the video, Sterling is seen resting on Matthews.
“The most incredible journey, to bring the greatest blessing into our lives🥺 Baby, we love you! 💕 #sterlingskye, ”said Matthews online.
Matthews, a certified personal trainer, announced his pregnancy in September, the same month Mahomes asked the question.
Mahomes, last year’s Super Bowl MVP, proposed to Matthews at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, presenting her with a huge six-figure emerald cut engagement ring, according to Kathryn Money of Brilliant Earth, the vice senior president of merchandising and retail expansion.
“Patrick’s stunning, modern Brittany engagement ring appears to feature an estimated emerald cut diamond of 8 to 10 carats, set in a double band adorned with white gold or platinum,” Money previously told Page Six Style.
In July, Mahomes signed the richest contract in the sport’s history, a 10-year extension to the Chiefs worth $ 503 million.
Mahomes and Matthews are scheduled to be married next year.
