Future Updates
The next update, patch 1.2, is expected in early February, followed by several updates and DLC content in 2021 and 2022.
People like to compare Cyberpunk 2077 with The Witcher 3, which is understandable because it is the previous CDPR title.
But many people forget that The Witcher 3 did not start out as the polished masterpiece as it is now known.
Between the launch and release of the GOTY edition, there were a total of 18 patches for the game.
So while Cyberpunk was a major disappointment at launch, in late 2022 it could also be a polished masterpiece.
