DENVER – The night storm threw more than 23 centimeters of snow in many parts of the Denver metropolitan area, from Wednesday night until Thursday morning.
The area was upgraded to a winter storm alert on Tuesday night, and snow totals on Wednesday morning showed that more than a foot of snow fell in parts of Denver, Jefferson and Douglas counties.
