Parler CEO: Coordinated plan by technology companies to shut us down

The silencing of conservative discourse on social media has turned into a “coordinated effort” by major technologies to close Parler, according to the social media platform CEO John Matze.

“This was an attack coordinated by the technology giants to kill competition in the market,” says Matze. “We were very successful very fast.

“You can expect the war on competition and free speech to continue, but don’t exclude us. #Peakfreely.”

Matze’s statement comes at a time when Amazon is removing the platform from its servers, which could bring down the conservative social media platform for about a week.

“On Sunday at midnight, Amazon will shut down all of our servers in an attempt to completely remove free speech from the Internet,” he wrote. “There is a possibility that Parler will be unavailable on the Internet for up to a week while we rebuild from scratch.

“We prepare for events like this by never counting on Amazon’s proprietary infrastructure and building pure metal products.”

Matze called on Amazon, Google and Apple for orchestrating the “coordinated effort”.

“We will try our best to switch to a new supplier now, as we have many competing for our business; however, Amazon, Google and Apple did this on purpose as a coordinated effort, knowing that our options would be limited and knowing that this would inflict the most damage as soon as President Trump was banned from technology companies. “
