Paris Hilton will soon add a new role to her resume: mom. The “Simple Life” star revealed in an episode of The Trend Reporter podcast that she started IVF with boyfriend Carter Reum.
“I am very excited to move on to the next stage of my life and finally have a real life, because I truly believe that having a family and having children is the meaning of life,” Hilton, 39, told The Trend Reporter host Mara Schiavocampo. “I haven’t been there yet because I don’t feel that anyone really deserves this love from me and now I’ve finally found who deserves it. So I can’t wait for the next step. “
Hilton admitted that she was not familiar with IVF until she spoke to another famous friend on a reality show about the subject.
“We have been doing in vitro fertilization so that I can choose twins, if I want to. Kim (Kardashian West) is actually the one who told me about it – I didn’t know anything about it, ”she said. “I’m glad she gave me that advice and introduced me to her doctor.”
Hilton felt that IVF was right for her because she knows how she wants her family to be.
“I really want twins who are a boy and a girl,” she said. “So this is the only way to achieve this 100%.”
She said the couple hopes to have “three or four children”, including twins. She has already extracted eggs and said that having such a favorable partner has made the process much easier.
“It was hard. I knew it would be worth it. I did it a few times,” she said. “Just doing it together and having a partner who is so supportive and makes me feel like a princess all the time and is so thoughtful and amazing – it wasn’t too bad ”.
Hilton and Reum have been together for 15 months, but have known each other for a longer time. They reconnected during Thanksgiving Day at Reum’s sister’s home in the Hamptons. That meeting sparked serious chemistry, but she also saw a softer side to him.
“I just saw how sweet he was with his mom and we were talking more and I just felt a really incredible connection,” she said. “We have been literally inseparable ever since.”
Hilton talked about freezing her eggs in her 2020 documentary “This is Paris”. On the podcast, Hilton also talked about her relationship with sister Nicky Hilton Rothschild and their children. She revealed to Schiavocampo that watching Reum play with his nieces showed how great a father he will be.
“I know he is going to be the best dad,” she said. “He is so cute.”
