Paris Hilton shares photos of herself at age 18 after alleged abuse at a boarding school

Paris Hilton is still recovering after revealing that she was allegedly abused while attending a private boarding school in Utah.

The reality show personality, 39, shared photos of herself at age 18 on social media after returning from Provo Canyon School, where she claimed to have suffered emotional and psychological torture.

“These photos were taken when I was 18 and recently came home from the horrible experiences I had at #ProvoCanyonSchool. I can see the pain in my eyes. I was so traumatized that I pretended it was okay, trying to block the painful memories,” wrote Hilton.

“Looking at it now, I know that my teenager would be incredibly proud of the woman I am today,” she expressed.

Hilton concluded: “Be brave and use my voice to make a difference and prevent children from having to endure abuse myself and many others. #ISeeYouSurvivor #BreakingCodeSilence.”

Hilton detailed his experience at Provo Canyon School in his YouTube Originals documentary “This Is Paris”, which premiered in September.

She also told People magazine that the 11 months she participated in the PCS were “ongoing torture”, claiming that she was the victim of intimidation by officials and witnessed violent restrictions. She left school at 18 in 1999.

Fox News spoke with six alumni and a former boarding school employee, who shared their own stories and corroborated the star’s allegations of suffering or witnessing physical and mental abuse, including forced drugs, beatings, solitary confinement and intimidation by staff .

A former student, Lee Goldman, 33, from Toronto, Canada, attended the 2002-2004 PCS. She spoke to Fox News on September 4, the 10th anniversary of the day she attempted suicide.

At that time, she was involved in a lawsuit against the PCS, which alleged that a school official sodomized the then teenager to inject a drug against her will. According to court documents obtained by Fox News, the case was dismissed by the state’s Fourth Judicial Court due to a lack of legal action.

“Paris speaking out about it can bring about really big changes in the industry as a whole. She is a hero,” Goldman told us, adding that Hilton’s documentary can force actionable changes in the behavioral health industry.

PCS declined to address the allegations before Hilton’s documentary, telling Fox News in a September statement: “Originally opened in 1971, Provo Canyon School was sold for its previous property in August 2000. Therefore, we cannot comment. about the patient’s operations or experience before that time. “
