The high-profile photo was postponed on two occasions for a theatrical release amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Paramount is once again postponing the launch of the marquise title A peaceful place, part II still in 2021 amid the new coronavirus pandemic in progress, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed.
The studio has already delayed the work of John Krasinski A peaceful place, part II on September 17 for a theatrical release. This was after the sequence was initially postponed from September 4, 2020 to April 23, 2021.
Krasinski wrote and directed A Quiet Place II, starring original cast members Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe. Series debutants include Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou.
The last delay for A peaceful place, part II follows the photo of James Bond No time to die also postponing its launch amid the ongoing pandemic and the widespread closure of theaters in many of the world’s major markets.
The delay for support as important as No time to die reaching the multiplex should trigger another wave of high-profile movements between the spring and early summer films.
The first film, A quiet place (2018), saw director John Krasinski emerge as a surprising new voice in the horror genre, with his story of a family forced to survive in a world with monsters that hunt for sound. The photo raised $ 340.9 million worldwide with a budget of $ 21 million, making it one of the biggest success stories of the year for an original film.
Not just a blockbuster and a reason to choose a theatrical experience, A quiet place he also had great success with criticism and won an Oscar nomination for best sound editing, along with several Critics’ Choice nominations.
