Frasier restarted ‘close’ to receiving the green light from Paramount + with Kelsey Grammer reprising his title role … and filming may ‘start this summer’

Paramount + is reportedly close to reviving the successful NBC Frasier sitcom, which has accumulated 37 Emmy awards in 11 seasons from 1993-2004.

Filming could begin as early as the summer if the reboot has a green light, according to TV Line, with Kelsey Grammer reprising his role as Dr. Frasier Crane.

Paramount + also hopes to attract support cast members David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves and Peri Gilpin to return as Niles Crane, Daphne Moon and Roz Doyle.
