Shoot in love!
Two health heroes in South Dakota are engaged after a proposed paramedic as her nurse boyfriend administered the coronavirus vaccine.
Sanford Health has started vaccinating local health workers to fight viral disease, and registered nurse Eric Vanderlee has been administering vaccines. The work became personal one day in December, when Vanderlee vaccinated her boyfriend and colleague at Sanford Health, EMS supervisor Robby Vargas-Cortes.

The great moment of applying the vaccine became even more extraordinary when Vanderlee prepared the dosage and prepared to give the injection – upon discovering that Vargas-Cortes had pasted an engagement ring on his arm, the health center wrote on Facebook.
“So it’s been a crazy year and it’s been really fun to have you in my life,” said Vargas-Cortes, and asked his boyfriend to marry him. The nurse said “yes” while the audience applauded and shouted.
