it is CES 2021and while we are not living in Las Vegas, there are many things that companies want to share with us in digital format. Take the new one from Panasonic cordless phone charger for the car, which dispenses the charging coils in place for the furniture. To make it clear what I mean by this – this is a wireless charger that moves to fit your smartphone better.
Panasonic said it devoted resources to this type of technology after its research showed that an average family in the United States includes 10 connected devices. Okay, not all of them will come for a ride in the car, but a small family could easily stack a handful of smartphones in a vehicle. Therefore, mobile coils are designed to charge devices more quickly so that everyone can have a chance at battery juice.
The technology inside the device should target the phone or the device’s charging coil more accurately, even if the device doesn’t fit perfectly in it (I’ve tried many demanding wireless chargers). Panasonic also promised that the technology is much better in combination with a smartphone than competing systems. When the phone or device is placed in the wireless charger, 15 watts of energy reach the driver for super fast charging times.
Panasonic didn’t immediately return a request for comment, so we can’t say when you’ll be able to buy one or how much it will cost, but in the meantime, you can see how the technology works in the video above.
