GREEN BAY – The Packers will host the NFC Championship Game next Sunday, January 24, at Lambeau Field, against the Buccaneers or Saints.
The kickoff is scheduled for 2:05 pm CT on FOX.
Tampa Bay and New Orleans face each other in the NFC division’s playoff to determine Green Bay’s opponent. The game starts this Sunday at 17:40 CT.
It is the first time that the Packers have hosted the NFC title game in 13 years and the third time overall since the 1970 league merger. Green Bay also hosted the 1996 and 2007 postseason, dividing the two games.
The Packers played against the Saints and Buccaneers in the regular season in 2020, both on the road. Green Bay won in New Orleans at the end of September, 37-30, before falling to Tampa Bay three weeks later, 38-10.
In their history, the Packers had a previous postseason encounter with the Buccaneers in the 1997 NFC division playoff, won by Green Bay at Lambeau Field. The Packers never played against the Saints in the postseason.
