Packers to host Buccaneers at NFC Championship Game

The NFC championship game is set.

The Green Bay Packers, who defeated the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday, will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, January 24 at Lambeau Field.

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers defeated the Saints in New Orleans on Sunday.

The kickoff for the NFC championship game is scheduled for 2:05 pm CT. FOX will broadcast the game.

The Packers lost 38-10 to the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay during Week 6 of the regular season. Green Bay scored the first 10 points of the game, but the Bucs managed two critical interceptions from Aaron Rodgers and went on in a 38-0 run to end the contest.

Packers haven’t played an NFC Championship Game at Lambeau Field since 2007. Rodgers had never started an NFC Championship Game at home.

The team is selling 6,500 tickets to season ticket holders. Additional frontline workers and first responders will also be invited. Last week, the Packers had 8,456 fans at Lambeau Field.

The winner between the Packers and Buccaneers on Sunday will face the winner of the AFC Championship Game between Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills in the Super Bowl LV.
