Overwatch 2 Blizzard developers revealed a ton of information about the highly anticipated sequel in the last BlizzCon this week, with Jeff Kaplan and his team investigating the details of passive skills, final loading and reversal adjustments.
That’s very good, but when it comes to the sequel, we want to know what new characters we will be playing with and, fortunately, we received some new details about Sojourn, which were revealed along with the game in 2019.

This new hero carries a railgun, a weapon designed to invoke the feel of old school snipers (perhaps the on-rails type?). The development team said that it has become a favorite among those testing the game, as it can completely decimate the enemy’s health.
The caveat is that you really need to be good at pointing. Sojourn is a character that will require a lot of skill when it comes to aligning your target.
The team also detailed some changes they are testing with the character Reinhardt. He looks big and aggressive, so the developers wanted to try out some options that really influence how people think he should play by looking at him.

These changes, as well as other adjustments and the prospect of replacing the older modes with new ones, are not set in stone at the moment. Kaplan emphasized that they are experimenting with things and their ideas are constantly evolving, instead of committing to bring everything discussed to the released version.
Overwatch 2 should be launched for all major systems. It currently does not have a startup window.
